In Jordan, all orphan care homes—whether government-funded or privately funded—provide care and support to children and youth only until they turn 18. After that, there’s no structured system in place to help them transition into adulthood, especially when it comes to integrating into society. Inspired by its Arabic meaning, “Security”, Al Aman Fund was initiated by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2003 and officially established as a nonprofit organization in 2006.
