Education for Employment-Jordan (EFE-Jordan) is a locally registered non-profit organization established in 2006 that leads a national initiative to create economic opportunities for unemployed youth across the Kingdom. EFE-Jordan utilizes a demand-driven approach, beginning with a thorough market assessment, youth selection, followed by delivery of training, which ends with the provision of economic opportunities for youth.
Education For Employment – Jordan (EFE-Jordan)
EFE-Jordan implements its Entrepreneurship, Micro-Entrepreneurship, and Self-Employment Track to empower youth in Aqaba and beyond to create sustainable income opportunities. The program offers training in entrepreneurship, marketing, access to finance, and sector-specific technical skills, enabling participants to sell products or provide services from home or through small businesses. It caters to three groups: aspiring entrepreneurs who are eager to start a business but lack a concrete idea, existing entrepreneurs who need support to scale and increase income, and early-stage startups that require tools and guidance to thrive in their initial phases. To enhance its impact in the south, EFE-Jordan also manages the Makarem Training Center in Ayla, Aqaba, serving as a hub for entrepreneurship support and youth training.
